Dear Sisters, In Solidarity

I love days like this.  When huge numbers of women come together in solidarity to have each other's backs.  This New Year's Day, over 300 women in Hollywood are saying Time's Up on sexual harassment, and calling for change from movie sets to farms to boardrooms.  From Shonda Rhimes to Emma Stone, these women announced their dedication to raising legal funds for women affected by sexual harassment, plus to look to the future and improve laws and policies, by placing a full-page advert in The New York Times.

The clock has run out on sexual assault, harassment and inequality in the workplace. It’s time to do something about it.

The TIME'S UP initiative addresses the systemic inequality and injustice in the workplace that have kept underrepresented groups from reaching their full potential. Partnering with leading advocates for equality and safety to improve laws, employment agreements, and corporate policies; help change the face of corporate boardrooms and the C-suite; and enable more women and men to access our legal system to hold wrongdoers accountable.

No more silence. No more waiting. No more tolerance for discrimination, harassment or abuse.
TIME’S UP.
